Griffin Caughron is a 2nd Year at the University of Iowa majoring in Cinema & Screenwriting, and he is from Waterloo, Iowa. He joined CAB in 2025 and has been a part of the organization for 3 semesters. Griffin joined CAB to get more involved in campus and he had already seen a lot of the great events CAB had put on.

Griffin is the Executive Director for the Campus Activities Board. The Executive Director is in charge of creating and advocating for a welcoming, accessible, and respectful environment in the admin team, Leadership team and CAB as a student organization and serves as a liaison across production, marketing, and member relations teams within CAB as one student organization.

He decided to join leadership as he really appreciated the good work that CAB does for the University and he wanted to be a bigger part of that as well as share his perspective and better develop his leadership skills. Griffin’s favorite memory is when he dealt Blackjack at Casino Night as it was super fun getting to be on that side and he got to talk to a lot of people who all were having a great time. He also loves working Spring-a-Palooza.
