Ella is a 3rd year at the University of Iowa majoring in management with an event management certificate; she is originally from Johnston, Iowa. She joined CAB in fall of 2024 and joined because she loves event planning and creating fun experiences that bring people together. She thought that CAB would be a great way to be more involved on campus while doing something she enjoys.

Ella is one of the Event Directors for the Campus Activities Board. The Event Directors are in charge of planning and putting on all of CAB’s events each semester. As an Event Director, Ella oversees the production of events from top to bottom.

Of all of the events CAB puts on during the year, Ella loves working the craft events. Ella’s favorite memory from CAB is making the cotton candy at Spring-A-Palooza. She said that perfecting the cotton candy ball is way harder than it looks.
