Danielle is a 3rd year (Junior) at the University of Iowa majoring in Communications, with minors in Media Management and Cinema, and an Event Management certificate, originally from Buffalo Grove, IL. Danielle  joined CAB in Spring of 2023 and has been part of the organization for five semesters. Danielle  joined CAB because she really loved the idea of being able to plan events for our campus. 

Dani is an Event Director for the Campus Activities Board. The Event Director position is in charge of the planning and execution of CAB events, this includes our weekly smaller scale events as well as one of our three big events. Danielle has always had interest in event planning and decided to apply for leadership because she wanted the opportunity to plan her own event ideas from scratch and thought it would be the perfect way to put her creative mind to work!

Of all the events CAB puts on during the year, Taste of Asia is Danielle’s favorite! She says “although it’s one of our bigger events that takes a lot more planning, getting to see everything come together is so cool. There are lots of moving parts with this event such as collaborating with other orgs, finding food vendors, performances and more” Her favorite memory from being a part of CAB was setting up for Haunted House, Dani had so much fun being with her Cabbie friends and enjoying quality time as we put together one of our most extensive events.
