Haley is a 3rd year (Junior) at the University of Iowa majoring in Social Work with a minor in Psychology,  originally from South Elgin, IL. Haley joined CAB in Spring of 2023 and has been part of the organization for five semesters. Haley joined CAB because she loved attending CAB events and loved how many opportunities there were to get involved! 

Haley is an Event Director for the Campus Activities Board. The Event Director position is in charge of the planning and execution of CAB events, this includes our weekly smaller scale events as well as one of our three big events. Haley wanted to join leadership to get even more involved with the organization while also getting the opportunity to play a big role in the organization that helped her adjust to life in college. She really enjoys Brainstorming event ideas, and picking events we have never done before as well as getting feedback from Cabbies and students who attend our events. 

Of all the events CAB puts on during the year, Haunted House is Haley’s favorite! She says “Although there are a lot of moving parts, it’s so rewarding to hear people compliment the event. It’s also super funny to see the people that “don't get scared” run away yelling in fear.” Her favorite memory from being a part of CAB was setting up for Haunted House in 2024, Haley loved getting to know the volunteers and new CAB members.
