Katherine is a 2nd year at the University of Iowa majoring  in English with an Event Management minor and Human Rights certificate; she is originally from Des Moines, Iowa. Katherine joined CAB in her 1st semester of college and has been a part of the organization for 2 semesters.

Katherine is an Event Director for the Campus Activities Board. Event Directors are in charge of planning and putting together all of CAB’s events. Katherine took on this position because she “really enjoyed being a part of CAB and wanted to be a bigger part of it.” She has had many event ideas throughout the year and wanted a chance to bring them to life.

Of all the events CAB puts on during the year, Haunted House and Craft Nights are Katherine’s favorites. One of her favorite memories from being a part of CAB was helping out with Spring-A-Palooza because, “everyone was having fun and interacting in a way that felt very community driven.”
