Kay is a 3rd year (Junior) at the University of Iowa majoring in Criminology, Law, and Justice with a double minor in African American Studies and Social Justice, originally from Davenport, IA. Kay joined CAB in Spring of 2023 and has been part of the organization for five semesters. Kay joined CAB because she had gone to the Haunted House in Fall 2022 and wanted to find a way to help with it. 

Kay is the Administrative Director of Marketing for the Campus Activities Board. The Admin of Marketing is in charge of overseeing the productivity of the marketing directors, producing merchandise and managing all of CAB’s marketing efforts via social media and print marketing. Kay wanted to join the leadership team because she admired her previous two admins and wanted to learn everything she could about marketing! She enjoys getting to brainstorm new and fun ideas for CAB marketing with her directors! 

Of all the events CAB puts on during the year, Casino Night is Kay’s favorite! She says, “Casino Night is the only big event where we can dress up and pop out and I love getting to get all cute and put on a Casino in the IMU!” Her favorite memory from being a part of CAB was running her first marketing team breakout during house meeting with Henry and Jessica, at that moment, she could tell it was going to be a good year!
