Megan is a 3rd year (Junior) at the University of Iowa majoring in Human Physiology with a double minor Chemistry and English on the pre-med track, originally from Council Bluffs, IA. Megan joined CAB in Fall of 2023 and has been a part of the organization for four semesters! Megan  joined CAB because she loved going to cab events during her freshman year. She  always had so much fun at them and thought it would be even more fun to join. Megan always looks for more ways to get involved on campus, and CAB was exactly what she was looking for! 

Megan is one of the Event Directors for the Campus Activities Board. The Event Director position is in charge of the planning and execution of CAB events, this includes our weekly smaller scale events as well as one of our three big events. Megan enjoys being involved, and being on leadership is the best way to do that within CAB. Planning events is something Megan loves to do. The whole process from coming up with an event idea, planning the event, and then seeing your event be carried out is something Megan finds very rewarding. 

Of all the events CAB puts on during the year, Bouquet Making is Megan’s favorite! She says “ It’s so much fun to make your own bouquet the way you want.” Her favorite memory from being a part of CAB is being with her CAB besties, Jessica and Gracie every week!
